Physician Assistant

Our work in medicine can be emotionally challenging. As healthcare professionals, we are often exposed to the darker side of human existence. Despite this, we continue to believe in the good intentions of people and strive to make it better together. We know that our work goes beyond just providing medical care. It also involves providing emotional support to our patients, especially children who may not have anyone else to turn to. It's a powerful responsibility, but it can also be a heavy burden to bear. However, we must remember that the beauty of medicine lies in its humanity. We do what we do because we care deeply about our patients and their well-being. The emotional toll may be profound, but it's a small price to pay for the privilege of helping others. To all my fellow healthcare professionals, let's remember why we started this journey. Let's continue to care for our patients with empathy and compassion, even in the face of adversity. Our work may not always be easy, but it is always worth it. #healthcare #medicine #empathy #compassion

Great message Natalie Asbach, PA-C. We are all human beings with needs, wants, responsibilities, fears, and aspirations. "Wherever the art of medicine is loved, there is also a love of humanity". Hippocrates

So easy to lose sight of this when we are wrapped up in the hustle and bustle of busy clinic or hospital schedules. Remembering to relate to colleagues and patients on a deeper level and how important that connection is for us as humans is so powerful! Thanks for sharing this.

Great reminder Natalie Asbach, PA-C thank you for sharing 🙏
