Holy Guacamole! Aussie Avocados are now demanding better chips! 🤣 This one is hilarious! Australian Avocados has launched a cheeky campaign, demanding the corn chip industry to 'chip in' and step up their game! I love Thinkerbell's comment, “Guacamole and corn chips create a taste sensation, but far too many times, corn chip breaks under the weight of the guac! We’re committed to fixing this national issue, and we hope the chip industry hears our plea.”👏🏻 Launched on National Avocado Day (July 31st, in case you didn't know!) This plea took a full page in the Daily Telegraph. I love this creative, but I'm puzzled as to the brief and the objective of the campaign. - Was it to sell more Avos? - Promote a potential partnership with a stronger chip partner? - Does it demand a better quality chip in the minds of consumers - when making guacamole? Definitely creative and fun. But beyond being entertaining I don't see what the ad purpose is. And given ads cost decent dollars to run, they should have a clear purpose.
