Well, we've upgraded from ceiling-hitting to sky-rocketing! 🌟 Here's a quick rundown of our latest and greatest: 1. Elie closed a deal so big, even his calculator gave up. Seriously, it's now on holiday! 2. Viky is now known as the "Client Whisperer." She could sell ice to a penguin and have it thank her for the excellent service. 🐧❄️ 3. Dan reached his sales targets and is on the road to smashing them next month. 🎯 4. Arianna our rising star, is learning the ropes at lightning speed and bringing in a roster of fantastic candidates. 5. We've decided Naz should end his holidays and come back because we miss him. An old industry lag once told me ‘if you aim for nothing you will achieve nothing’ He was quietly giving me some wisdom about my blank sales board in the office. Well I can testify I always ensured the ‘back office sales accountability board’was completed daily… However on a more important point.. Do your teams know their monthly targets.? Are they visible.? Are they tracked daily..? I’ll add my own wisdom.. ‘A bowman won’t hit a target blind folded’.. COMMISSION BREATH Such an evocative phrase that I read on Linkedin last week, I just had to share it. We all know the salesperson whose ‘commission breath’ you can smell a mile off. Truth is, the impact of these types on the whole network of salespeople is to create a level of mistrust amongst every potential customer or client. So you don’t get that from us. Sure, it might cost us the odd deal where we could have more aggressively convinced our client to offer more rent. But that’s simply not what we’re about - for us, the satisfaction of finding the creative way to get a deal done far outweighs the more crude approach of ‘just bidding higher’. And more important than our satisfaction, our clients recognise and appreciate it. It’s notable that our new client acquisition has gradually flipped from being predominantly those who we approached ‘cold’, to now where the vast majority come from warm introductions - many of these from existing clients. That’s something we carry proudly. But don’t take our word for it - let’s collaborate, strategise & grow.
