"Let the wild rumpus start!" 🌟 Mischief & Wilde is taking shape, and as we design our space, let's explore some key "Why" questions. WHY does Mischief & Wilde exist? Our mission is simple: to revere the next generation, creating BEAUTIFUL and JOYFUL moments today for their growth and happiness tomorrow. WHY focus on beauty and joy? Think about your favorite food or restaurant. Is it the nutrition labels that captivate you? No! It’s the flavors, the customer experience, and the design of the space. These elements come together to create happiness! While risky play, sustainability, and developmental benefits are important themes in Mischief & Wilde projects, our main goal will always be to create beauty and joy. WHY combine a play space and a design studio? It’s an exciting experiment! Years ago, I was inspired by the Exploratorium in San Francisco, where the fabrication shop was integrated right in the midst of the exhibits. The experience of seeing things made right in the space was unforgettable. At Mischief & Wilde, we aim to erase the physical line between the user (children) and the maker/designer, fostering a deeper connection and mutual understanding. WHAT'S next? Stay tuned for exciting updates! #MischiefAndWilde #PlayAndDesign #CommunityFocus #PlaygroundDesigner #FutureGenerations #BeautifulDesign #JoyfulMoments #InnovativeSpaces #ChildhoodDevelopment #Sustainability #CreativeSpaces #PlayDesign

Ever felt like your best ideas come to life outside the conventional 'boardroom'? 🤔✨ This inflatable Romanesque bounce house isn't just a playful nod to history—it's a symbol of how 'bouncing' ideas around in a dynamic work environment can lead to greater inspiration and exploration. Much like this modern take on an ancient design, incorporating flexibility and fun into our brainstorming sessions can foster creativity and innovative thinking. Let's chat about this: How do you create a space—physically or mentally—that encourages you and your team to think outside the box and let ideas soar? Has a change of scenery or approach ever turned a lightbulb moment into a beacon of success for you? #Innovation #Teamwork #CreativeThinking #WorkplaceCulture #IdeaExploration #ConceptDevelopment

Experiential Retail Designer for Luxury Brands | Elevating Engagement, Awareness, and Brand Loyalty | Expert in Strategic Immersive Retail and Hospitality Design
L.A. artist Darel Carey uses electrical tape, a knife, and a ladder to warp our sense of space. His art makes you pause, step back, and question what you’re seeing. But how can art help your brand? ➡️ Want to step into another dimension? Carey’s work invites you in. Carey taps into liminality—designing spaces that disconnect from the usual and invite deeper engagement. Inspired by MC Escher’s geometric illusions, his lines and patterns transform surfaces, creating environments that demand attention. Takeaways for brands and spaces: 🧠Visually intriguing spaces increase emotional engagement and time spent in-store (Environment and Behavior study). 🧠Unique visual elements stimulate the brain, enhancing mood and memory (Journal of Environmental Psychology). 🧠When a space feels distinct and unexpected, visitors are more receptive to the brand’s message. Imagine retail, dining, or hospitality environments that intrigue, engage, and linger in memory. Spaces that challenge perception also capture attention and build lasting connections. This artwork in our office is not a decoration! It is a visual reminder of one of our team norms: to embrace a growth mindset. This entails... - testing ideas frequently and rapidly scaling the winning ideas - admitting our mistakes and framing these as learnings - failing fast to find the best solution as soon as possible. How do you encourage progress over perfection in your team? Let us know in the comments section! #WeAreTheGokongweiGroup #ProgressOverPerfection #AgileMindset #AgileCulture #AgileTeams
