How long should my podcast be? Now that's a good question, because like a piece of string there are many variables to consider. But at Pod and Pen Productions we believe that a good guide is that it needs to be as long as it needs to be, and not a minute longer! It's all about respecting and serving your audience. In this episode of the Pod like a Pro podcast Liz Clarkson and I talk you through the areas you need to consider. We also talk about the fantastic PodPoll 24 data from Deadset Studios that reveals the lengths of podcasts that Aussies like to consume. https://shorturl.at/aOJmL

Season 2, Episode 7 of Chats with Dad gets into one of our thorniest topics to date: working with friends and family. We could have just stopped at my warning of ‘DON’T DO IT’, but the reality is a lot more complicated than that. We get into all of that in the full episode, which can be listened to here: https://lnkd.in/ez9tGJMu You can also watch it as a video podcast on YouTube, if you prefer to take your podcasts that way: https://lnkd.in/eA-9FHK2

My first podcast is up. You can listen to it at the following link!!! This is where I talk about my chapter in Restore My Soul, volume 1 of this anthology series. The podcast is only 8 min long, so it's super short. I am not used to talking, so sorry it's not my best part, but what could I do for now. I am learning to be more vocal speaking-wise. Written is my strong suit. https://lnkd.in/g-Jiw46M

The Island Treasures Treasure Chest is a relatively new addition to the podcast. It originated because we had been asked to create segments for a radio program. That has not yet come to fruition but the work composing the treasure chest segments reminded me of the absolute treasures contained within the Island Treasures podcast episodes. So please take a listen to these treasures and share them with caregivers who may need to be wowed by the contents of each treasure chest! I’ll put a link in the comments!
