The cannabis industry is in dire need of more transparency and authenticity. As advocates, we've been pushing for change, but it's time to come together and demand action. The OCM and this program has not lived up to expectations we as New Yorker's deserve. It's time we prioritize protecting consumers and taxpayers while building a fair and just cannabis market. Let's have a hard look at the "randomized queue and do the due diligence to make the proximity map a tool for informed decisions, not the source of frustration and confusion.
