Leading by example, empowering change! As a woman in leadership, I have experienced first-hand the power of diversity in shaping not just workplaces but entire industries. Being part of teams that embrace diverse perspectives has shown me that inclusion is not just a value- it is a game-changer. Yet, the reality for many women professionals in India remains challenging. Women make up only 26.8% of the workforce, even as they drive unparalleled innovation and leadership. I believe this is a gap we can- and must-bridge together. That is why I am so proud of the work we are doing at Careernet. The 6th Edition of MyCareernet’s Career Fair for Women is not just another event-it is a commitment to action. This initiative is for: Women with 2–8 years of experience ready to seize new opportunities. Professionals looking to transition into roles where they can make a bigger impact. Emerging leaders determined to challenge norms and shape the future. At Careernet, we have seen the transformative impact of women in the workforce. We have worked tirelessly to create platforms where talent is celebrated, not constrained, by systemic barriers. I invite you to join us on this journey- whether you are a professional ready to take the next step or an organisation committed to building inclusive teams. Let us break down barriers, create opportunities, and lead the change we wish to see in every boardroom, every team, and every industry. Together, we can shape a workforce that truly reflects the world we want to live in. With industry leader like Moss Adams India, CDK Global, Lennox, Tekion Corp, Alcon Crisil, DHL, FIS, Mr. Cooper and more by our side, we’re paving the way for workplaces where diversity thrives and innovation leads the way. This is our moment to rise and lead. Are you ready to be part of this journey? Save the date - 22nd February 2025. We believe that a diverse workforce fosters creativity, drives innovation, and enhances problem-solving. This time, we collaborated with the GTT Foundation and the Placement Cell of Shri Shankarlal Sundarbai Shasun Jain College for Women to conduct a first-ever job fair campaign exclusively featuring women-only candidates in #Chennai, #India. This diversity hiring campaign is a key initiative under Movate Ignite, where we forge strategic partnerships with educational institutions to drive workforce diversification. By attracting diverse talent, we not only enrich our organizational culture but also enhance overall performance, fostering innovation at every level. Diversity and Inclusion can sometimes be a nuanced topic to navigate but at PropertyGuru Group, we believe in the importance and relevance of partnerships and communities to do so. In alignment with Pride Month, we partnered with various interest groups and communities across the region to drive awareness on inclusion. For example, our participation at the Inclusive Careers Fair in Singapore gave us the opportunity to connect with diverse talents and network with other similar organisations. In India, we conducted an informative session with Solidarity Foundation Bangalore about Gender, Sex and Sexuality, to understand the unique challenges faced by indigenous and local LGBTIAQ+ communities in India. The challenges faced by marginalised communities are ever evolving; and we recognise the need for ongoing education and awareness to advance as an organisation and community. #pridemonth #PGRU #createwhatsnext

I never aspired to be a CEO of the big tech giants. And do you know why? Because I’ve rarely seen women in those roles. But I do believe that change is on the horizon and we're moving to a more inclusive future every day. While challenges like unconscious bias, the motherhood penalty, and outdated beliefs in the workplace still exist, I now see a growing awareness and commitment to overcoming them. Women are standing up, voicing their concerns, and no longer hesitating to demand what they deserve. Because we can’t ignore these problems. We solve them by facing them head-on. The queer community and people with disabilities also experience similar struggles, and many companies still overlook their needs. But things are moving in the right direction—slowly but steadily. What can help make a difference? → More women in decision-making positions → Unconscious bias training for all employees → Inclusive and diverse career opportunities At the 4th edition of Triumph by foundit India’s leading virtual career fair for Women, PwD and LGBTQIA+ professionals, foundit is creating opportunities where everyone has a seat at the table. At Triumph, we can turn conversations into action! You’ll have the opportunity to connect with inspiring Women, PwD and LGBTQIA+ leaders, grow your professional network, and discover new pathways that align with your unique journey. P.S. Hello, women seeking to re-enter the workforce after a career gap, 😊I am thrilled to announce that I have completed the "Back to Work Program for Women on a Career Break " conducted by HerKey. The Back to Work program by HerKey is a comprehensive and well-structured program that addresses all the concerns and challenges faced by women who have taken a career break. The interactive sessions were extremely informative and engaging, covering topics such as resume building, interview skills, and personal branding. It was refreshing to have a safe space to ask questions and learn from experienced professionals who understand the unique challenges that women face in the workplace. This Job-Readiness program is based on the AISO model where we focus on 4 strong pillars: 1. Acceptance – Accept who you are as an individual, where you are currently, and how you can reach your career goal with confidence 2. Independence – Be self-dependent, self-driven, and gain financial and social independence 3. Support –- Seek that support from your inner circle, network, and communicate effectively to get the right direction in your career 4. Opportunity – Get ready with these armors and grab every career opportunity that knocks at your door. #Herkey #Careergap #Careerrestarters #ConfidenceBuilding #Resumebuilding #Recruitmentprogram

2015 was a momentous year for Avtar. It was the year we discovered the concept of career intentionality and its immense value in creating a successful career. Our extensive research also showed that women tend to display less drive and intentionality towards their career progress compared to men. Not only that, given that there are already multiple derailers in a woman's career path (conditioning and guilt, family responsibilities, bias, stereotyping and lack of support, to name a few), a lack of career-intentional actions is more detrimental to a woman's career than a man's. So, what exactly do we mean by career intentional action? It refers to periodic strategic steps that a person takes to advance in his or her career. It includes steps such as setting clear and specific goals, engaging in continuous learning, seeking mentors and networking with your peers. Dear women on my network, here's my message to you - please remember, intentional steps are crucial for you to advance in your career. So incorporate them consistently in your work routine. And here's a perfect place to begin: Deloitte presents the Sixth Edition of myAvtar Job Fair For Women, which offers the opportunity to: • Network with recruiters from several MNCs; • Engage with companies that value gender diversity and have supportive policies for women; • Connect with peers and mentors; • Gather useful tips for career success from industry experts. It's a very simple but extremely worthwhile step for your professional advancement. This fair has something for every woman – whether you are an early/mid career professional, a woman on a break or someone looking to transition to a new career path.
