👁️🗨️ A new UNSW report has revealed that state and federal governments spent approximately $5.45B on illicit drug countermeasures in the 2021/2022 financial year. Happy Easter. fröhe Ostern. Are you reflective day did your saviour show himself to you this morning that he was ok and the harm you did to him was erased. For me not really but a thought has been nagging me. Cigarettes have harmful to x and may cause lung cancer to you and others. Or something g like that. I am proposing that marijuana and all other drugs that they decriminalize come with a warmning and the damage that I have done has to be displayed x big on a wall inside marajuana stores and a sampling of my harassing letters to get people to try and make the effects of the marijuana to stop also posted. And a warning if they get charged with a crime marijuana people in the building and surrounding sidewalks can also be charged. If you want to smoke it know the consequences to unsuspecting people and the way it can influence you. It will mean dividing up your multiple properties or choosing to be marijuana active or not. And sticking to it. Meaning dealing with active smokers even when your office is closed and none of this I did not smell it therefore that tenant is lying. The consequences of covering up for marijuana smokers is just as great as the smoker themself. It means knocking opening up the door and making it clear. The damage done takes seconds after the whiff of smelling it for some… and emails or destruction of property or self injury. And this is my Easter gift to the court. I will be proposing this to courts that it has to be done for me and others like me. And that means I have to show that I did nothing wrong. It will limit the places that one can light up. But I cannot end up in jail because someone else decides they have a right to change my behaviour by forcing me to breath in a psychostimulants and me being unaware later.

I saw this video about family members calling for tougher sentences for dealers. https://lnkd.in/etNmbB9Q I totally understand this. We know that criminalising drugs and drug use doesn't really work, but we need to criminalise those who are dealing and don't really care who they are selling to or what the consequences are. So how do we get the balance right? In my opinion, we should decriminalise drugs and regulate them. When I came across the work of Anyone's Child and Transform Drug Policy Foundation many years ago, it fascinated me, because the people who had lost their children to drugs were actually fighting for this very thing. Please check out their website and find out more here https://lnkd.in/ec4zha_R Where we have an increased number of children being brought into crime by organised crime groups, then it makes sense to take the decision making out of criminal gangs hands and decriminalise use, so that people get support and care, rather than a prison sentence when they are struggling. This will allow people who use drugs to make informed choices and prevent a year on year increase of preventable deaths. A lot of non-straight political talk in here. So many generalized, non-qualitative adjectives. Who knows what any of them really mean. One person’s crisis is another’s routine. “Widespread diversion” ““some, but not all” of the drugs” “an alarming trend” “uncovering increasing amounts of prescription drugs” “seizing “notable quantities” of drugs” “safer-supply prescriptions are found in the minority of cases” 🙄 I’d be curious as to what the front line members have to say? What are they seeing in B.C., especially around the supply centres? My experience is that prescription meds are sold by users everywhere. I can’t remember the last time I didn’t find an Rx bottle at a drug investigation. It’s not a stretch to imagine the supply from the centres hasn’t made it out, but to what degree, who knows. Remember, B.C. said similar when the money laundering issue came up. To tackle this issue, we need to work together. We should teach people about the dangers of drugs, help those who are addicted to get better, and stop those who sell drugs illegally. It's important for governments, neighborhoods, and individuals to join hands in this fight. As we observe this day, let's all pledge to do our part in stopping drug abuse and illegal drug trade.
