As a CEO, which I'm not, it's important to understand how your micro interactions can lead to macro results... 🤔 I was reminded of that yesterday. I joined the Pavilion community yesterday after teaching the RevOps Summer course back in June and July this year. I've followed Pavilion's CEO, Sam Jacobs, on LinkedIn for a while but never interacted with him. Once I joined, he sent me a LinkedIn request so I followed up with a short message. His response, which probably took 15 seconds to type, made my week as it helped validate some of the good feedback on the course I had received. At the same time, it will also: 🚀 Make me try that much harder to ensure my upcoming Winter Session is a step above my Summer Session. 🚀 Encourage me to truly interact with the community and build meaningful connections. 🚀 Validate the plan that Brendan Tolleson and RevPartners have to sponsor the community enabling the beginning of a hopefully long-term partnership. I may never meet Sam but his simple validation that the course I created for his company's community provided value to the participants will make me a life-long fan. So as a reminder, 15 seconds now can pay dividends 15 days or 15 months down the road, you just never know.
