Tech Success Manager | AKA the Savvy Recruiter | Driving Innovation | Streamlining Processes | Implementing Improvements | Events Speaker | Dad | Neurodivergent: Autism
You probably don’t want to revolutionize the quantum industry. But just in case you do, I’m looking for a few unassuming geniuses for roles that are only somewhat likely to redefine technology as we know it—in Spain and the Netherlands, no less. We need a Quantum Research and Development Engineer, Senior Quantum Design Engineer, Fabrication Engineer, Quantum Measurements Engineer, Experimental Quantum Engineer, and a Quantum Production Technician. Just your typical, everyday quantum wizards. Imagine spending your days not just pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, but completely obliterating them. But hey, if you prefer the mundane, there are plenty of other jobs out there that involve pushing paper and attending endless meetings about font choices. We're not looking for just anyone. We need people who understand that 'quantum' isn't just a cool word to throw around but a real commitment to being confused at a higher level and about more important things. What will your day look like? Decoding the universe’s secrets before lunch, revolutionizing technology in the afternoon, and maybe, just maybe, changing the world by dinner. If you think you can fit into a team that barely fits into the conventional dimensions of physics, then we need to talk. Yes, the fabric of reality is complex, but your decision to apply doesn’t have to be. Not ready to make history? That's fine; history isn't for everyone. But if you are, send me a message. Let’s make the universe sit up and take notice. #QuantumComputing #TechJobs #HiringNow #Innovation #EngineeringJobs #QuantumTechnology #CareerOpportunities #SpainJobs #NetherlandsJobs #ExperimentalPhysics #TechTalent

#phdpositions in development and applications of #Nonadiabatic #QuantumDynamics methods for #Exciton and #ChargeTransfer processes in biomolecular #LightHarvesting proteins.
Hiring: Two PhD positions in Computational (Bio)Physics/Chemistry Two PhD positions on Computational (Bio)Physics/Chemistry and on the Dynamics of Open Quantum Systems are available in the group of Prof. Ulrich Kleinekathöfer at Constructor University in Bremen, Germany https://lnkd.in/eAEHEBR2 One position is focused on multi-scale modeling of charge transfer in heme-containing complexes. The respective research will involve a combination of quantum and molecular dynamics simulations as well as electronic structure calculations with some similarities to earlier work on charge and excitation energy transfer also using non-adiabatic methods. The second project focuses on the dynamics in open quantum systems applied, e.g., to the time propagation of excitons and charges in biological systems such as light-harvesting complexes but with possible connections to quantum computing. The successful candidates should hold a master degree in theoretical (bio)physics or theoretical (bio)chemistry. Solid knowledge in the theory of molecular systems and statistical mechanics as well as skills in molecular dynamics simulations are highly desirable especially for the first position. Proficiency in programming would be beneficial. The PhD positions are available immediately and applications will be considered until the positions are filled. Applicants should submit a CV, a brief statement of research interests, and the names of two referees.

It’s Warm #Welcome Wednesday! A big hello to our newest #teamSP member and CSO II, Lauren Corby, PhD. In the quote featured, we asked: "What made you decide Safety Partners was the right choice for you?" ⭐ Get to know Lauren in our mini-interview below: Q: Where did you grow up? A: Dorsey, Illinois (Just outside of St. Louis, Missouri). Q: What was your first job? A: My first official job was as a Research Assistant in a Physics laboratory. Q: What is your background in and how do you think it prepared you for your new role? A: Just about all my background is centered around laboratory science with focuses in solar cells for renewable energy, utilizing lasers to test semiconductor material’s emission for NASA-funded projects, and nanotechnology to detect and treat early-stage lung cancer. I believe my past has given me a wide range of adversity due to the drastically different fields of research I have been a part of. It has allowed me to find familiarity in the ever-evolving world of science. “The only constant is change.” -Heraclitus Q: Favorite Hobby? A: I spend a ludicrous amount of time playing volleyball. Q: Fun Fact about you? A: I have been skydiving. #ehs #labsafety #safetyjobs #biotech #biotechjobs #biosafety #teamwork #safertogether #biotechnology #lifesciences
