Our latest article, "The nexus of transportation, the built environment, air pollution, and health," has been published in the Cities & Health journal. Led by Haneen Khreis, this work explores the complex interactions between transportation infrastructure, urban design, air quality, and public health. The paper delves into the nexus between on-road transportation and the built environment, examining their impacts on air pollution exposure, interactions with physical activity, and overall health. We review the literature from 2010 onwards, highlighting current knowledge, key concepts, recent advances, remaining gaps, and future directions for research. https://lnkd.in/ezr9j7CE
