HIKING TRAILS IS LIVE! 🚀
I can’t say how proud I am to launch hiking-trails.com, an extensive resource for hikers, made possible by the hiking community, outdoor brands, trail organizations, tourism boards, photographers, and many more.
For years I was looking for a database like this. It was hard to find information about lesser known hiking trails and especially trying to find it all in one place was almost impossible. Sometimes it was frustrating, but after a while I found so many great local valuable resources (not always in English) which I still use every single day.
From this need, not only mine but also from many other hikers who were experiencing the same, the idea was born to do something about this. Together with hikers all over the world and local resources, we’ve created a place to find your next hiking trail, as simple as it is! Whether you’re looking for a day-hike, pilgrimage, long-distance trail, or thru-hike, we’ve got you.
We now have a small selection of 100 trails published online which will grow the next months to 300, contributed by hikers who’ve hiked the trail, together with local resources and other information. (Sorry if you don't see your trail there yet, it’s quite a job to publish everything at once, we’re working around the clock to upload them all ASAP).
For us it’s never been about quantity, we want to become the most quality resource and we can only do this with the help of hikers all over the world, who’ve actually hiked the trails. Our information is never complete, and we’re always looking for feedback to make the website and the information better. If you have any feedback for us, don’t hesitate to reach out.
