In complex care, flexibility is key — and that means funding should be flexible too. The people we serve have multiple, interrelated, and diverse needs. Rigid requirements and restrictions make it hard to address those needs quickly and holistically, which only adds to the very problems the funding aims to address. Learn more about our experiences as both a recipient and provider of flexible funding — and about a new, flexible grant opportunity for NJ nonprofits — on our blog: https://lnkd.in/eDF5AqDC Co-authors: Matthew J. Join us Wed. Nov. 15 at noon ET for another timely webinar: What happens to K-12 nonprofits and vendors when ESSER ends? Big cuts are coming to school district budgets. Historically, nonprofit providers and vendor services are the first line items to go. What should nonprofits and vendors know about the timing and magnitudes of budget cutting decisions? How will the market change in the coming years and which states will see the largest impacts?

Sharing a quick thought on this subject. I have met many non-profits dealing with lack of team collaboration. Collaboration between finance and fundraising staff enables better financial planning aligned with fundraising goals. By understanding budgetary constraints and revenue targets, fundraisers can tailor their strategies effectively. Finance teams provide insights into donor behavior and financial trends, aiding fundraisers in crafting more targeted appeals. This synergy fosters a more efficient use of resources, ultimately driving revenue growth for the organization.
