Now that billions are ploughed into genAI, which has no crasp of content - a small (in monetary terms!)- training free language AI with full semantic understanding is in an advanced stage of development. In comparison to genAI -a giant- because it understands what it reads ( MNLU = Machine Natural Language Understanding). It will fit on a chip ("small") and run on edge / on prem. Safe by design it complies to legal requirements like AIA, GDPR and ISO27001.
A first linguistic test was run at the DFKI (German Research Institut for AI)
To put into a picture:
Remember the times when a computer filled a whole room- nowadays a smartphone is more efficient! (Now the smartphone is a giant compared to the early computers).
When seeing the phantastic proverb of Martin Luther King Jr. this new MNLU came immediately to my mind.
Another proverb of Carl Sagan (author of Cosmos):
"The brain is a very big place in a very small space" 😊
IMHO not the great things, but the smart things (however small) count!
“And so our slogan must not be ‘Burn, baby, burn!’ It must be ‘Build, baby, build!’ Yes, our slogan must be ‘Learn, baby, learn!’ so that we can ‘Earn, baby, earn!’” I love this speech.
Dr. King’s words ring as powerfully today as when he first spoke them. His message isn’t confined to a single moment in history... it’s a call for EACH OF US, in every generation, to strive for excellence, dignity, and justice. It speaks to the responsibility we all share: to invest in our own growth, support one another, and keep building bridges of understanding rather than tearing them down.
These words were crucial back then, and they’re still crucial now. He challenges us to work hard, treat each other with respect, and keep growing. Watch this video, really listen, and ask yourself: “How can I apply this in my life?” Change doesn’t happen overnight; it happens when we put one foot in front of the other, day after day. Let’s keep building ourselves up and supporting each other wherever we can.
“…but we must keep moving, we must keep going. If you can’t fly, run. If you can’t run, walk. If you can’t walk, crawl. But by all means, keep moving.”

"I have a dream" Martin Luther King Jr. This is a speech that has transcended the sands of time and become a motivating factor to a lot of success stories world wide.
The most profound lesson from this speech was not in the words but in the actions Martin Luther King Jr took. He did not sleep on his dream, he woke up and made his dream a reality.
I hope you have the strength and the courage to do the same.

As we enjoy this holiday weekend, let us remember that the legacy of Dr. King ignites bold, courageous action in any era. His fearless dedication to social justice and equity reminds us to continue fighting for inclusive, fair, and just climate solutions.
"We must rapidly begin the shift from a ‘thing-oriented’ society to a ‘person-oriented’ society. When machines and computers, profit motives and property rights are considered more important than people, the giant triplets of racism, materialism, and militarism are incapable of being conquered." - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Dr. King’s vision wasn’t limited to just one moment in history.
It’s a foundation for living, working, and building today.
His message of equality, justice, and unity reshaped society and inspired progress in every corner of our lives.
We are reminded that what we build isn’t just physical.
It’s about building trust, relationships, and a better future for everyone.
His legacy is a challenge and an opportunity.
To aim higher.
To build better.
And to leave a lasting mark of positivity and progress.
Dr. King’s vision isn’t just a dream.
It’s a blueprint.
And it’s up to all of us to keep building on it.
