Gorige Kevin from TechPro Solutions Inc. just posted for a Senior Product Manager opening on their team. I am going to start posting less product manager roles on LinkedIn and start moving these posts over to Skool and this is because I am getting blown up by hiring managers telling me to stop posting jobs they are posting on LinkedIn. This didn’t make any sense to me until I started speaking with more hiring managers about how their inbox is blown up with just horrible messages. My mission is to help as many aspiring and experience product managers land their next product manager role, but y’all have to help me out by sending better messages. Sending a generic, “I am interested” or “I applied” or “did you get my application” offers no value and it won’t help you land your next product manager job. If anything it’s only leaving a negative or at best forgettable impression to somebody who just might be your future boss. So do yourself a favor and steal my message templates in Skool, follow up, and have real conversations with hiring managers. The biggest mistakes product managers are making beyond sending out bad messages is not following up. There is reason why we have included 8 follow up slots on the Airtable and that because you NEED to follow up with your applications. You already spent the time applying so you might as well maximize your list until you get a definitive rejection, because you are only one application and one interview away from landing your next product manager role. PS Stop overlooking the smaller companies and apply to them. Seriously! I usually get 3,000 to 6,000+ impressions when I post a product manager job for a bigger company; but I only get 900 impressions when I post for roles at companies nobody has heard of. There is nothing wrong with those companies and I challenge you to interview with them. God knows you need the practice. If you want other people to give you a shot, then you need to give companies a shot too. You want hiring teams to start treating you like a like human instead of a number, then stop applying and interview for product managers like they are another number. Your vibe attracts your tribe. #ProductManagement #WhatBadEconomy #GameHasBeenElevated #EverybodyIsOutOnTheTake

2 reasons to test a new acquisition channel: Risk diversification + diminishing returns. Risk: CAC can blow up at any time. Countless variables impact channel costs on a daily basis. Global events. Some tweak to the algo. Political ads driving up CPMs. A few days of negative contribution margin ad spend can quickly drain profits and cash flow. It’s an emotional roller coaster. Having a strong, diversified marketing mix means you’re not as susceptible to this volatility and can spare yourself the mental anguish when one channel goes sideways. Diminishing returns: The marginal return of every incremental dollar you spend on Meta generally decreases. Performance doesn’t scale to infinity. If you’re driving a 3X ROAS with $50k a month… You’re not getting the same return at $500k/month. Perhaps once you get to $400K, the next $100K will only deliver a 1X return. If you have other channels that yield a higher return on marginal dollars, you’ll be more profitable on the same total spend. Direct mail is one of those other channels. Our brands are seeing strong results hold steady as they scale to 5-6 figures/mo. DM me if you want to learn more. #ecommerce #directmail.

Andi Musa from IAS is looking for a Product Manager! There is simply too much friction reading a resume right now, so the best way for you to land interviews is by direct message on LinkedIn BUT LET ME BE CRYSTAL CLEAR. You still have to mass apply, because when companies ask you if you have applied yet in the portal and you say no then you have to start from scratch. It’s a lot of work I know and it sucks, but you got to do it. In 2025 mark my words at the rate AI is moving you will all by interviewing with holograms. I am not joking at all. There will be AI recruiting software that will sort, sift, screen (oh yes interview you), and schedule the second round interview. This is why I am telling everybody to land this job as soon as possible and to start a brand (more on that later), but for now you need to deliver a more impactful message to pitch your resume. Well… Rich what the heck am I supposed to say? That’s a fair question and I got you covered right here. I have a list of 33 openers you can use in Skool. See you in Skool! https://lnkd.in/gtQjCfUH Don’t be late to Skool! https://lnkd.in/gtQjCfUH PS Please RESHARE this post for all your colleagues still looking for a job. #productmanagement #productmanagementcareers #productmanagementjobs #speedtolead

Co-CEO & Co-Founder at Kynship // Helping founders grow sales (not likes) with influencer marketing.
Without this one skill, your beautiful ads and spending strategy are pointless: Financial literacy. Everyone loves to talk about creative and strategy because it's sexy and full of hot takes/opinions — nobody likes to talk about financial literacy because it's the most objective part of your ad account. I think it's the most overlooked for this reason. Less room for interpretation. Sure, creative volume is what we push as the solution to more account growth — giving Meta as much ammunition (data) to work with. Sure, cost controls are how we refine a high volume strategy not to burn through your budget — Meta spends on what it thinks will perform, nothing more. But financial literacy is the true foundation for sustained growth: ➝ Unit economics (per product SKU and per offer) ➝ Contribution margin and breakeven targets in campaigns ➝ Purchase value per conversion + cost of delivery per product You can pour in all the creative you want, even with cost controls, and still not get anywhere if you don't know your financial benchmarks. It's time for DTC brands to stop overlooking this part of ad strategy. (PS - we break down strategies like this for ecommerce brands in our bi-weekly newsletter, Cut the CAC. If you like this style of content, check it out in the comments)

CRO / CEO / CMO / GTM Exec I WPP, Publicis, Oracle Advertising Cloud, Citi, Open AI, Perplexity, Twitter I 5X Exits I
https://lnkd.in/e9T9Ardc One way to look at this is that it more precisely demarcates the boundary between what scales (which Meta wants to own) and what doesn't (which they'd love to outsource to everyone else). Predicting which ad will generate the most revenue is the kind of problem that's done at vast scale, but deciding which metrics define success is still a manual, human-intensive process. A SaaS company selling analytics software (or a consultant helping to configure Google Analytics) will be happy to spend a lot of time helping the customer define their goals. If Meta can keep headcount lower and retain its focus, in exchange for giving up a tiny slice of margin to those outside service providers, it's a fair trade.
