National Partnership for Student Success’ Post

On Tuesday, September 10th from 4-5 p.m. ET (1-2 p.m. PT), join Overdeck Family Foundation and the Ad Council Research Institute (ACRI) for a webinar led by Derrick Feldmann, managing director of ACRI, revealing key takeaways from a mixed methods research study examining parents’ views on education and school absences, and the narratives that would effectively communicate why consistent in-person attendance is critical. The findings in this report and accompanying toolkit will provide guidance for policymakers, practitioners, and educators on how to best develop messaging that motivates families to send their children to school in person on a consistent basis. Following a review of the research, Lina Eroh, Senior Director of Communications at the Foundation, will lead a panel discussion with: - Dr. Robert Balfanz, Center for the Social Organization of Schools, Everyone Graduates Center, Johns Hopkins University at John Hopkins University - Hedy Chang, Attendance Works - Angélica Infante-Green, Rhode Island Department of Education - Dr. Todd Rogers, Harvard University, EveryDay Labs Register: https://lnkd.in/e9cSb5VR
