Organisations like ours (Aspire NI) rely on the kindness & generosity of individuals and businesses to help fund and continue our work. But opportunities like this, where community funding is available, helps inject some much needed funds to grow the work we do. As it stands, we work in 29 schools across Northern Ireland, with over 350 young people each week. Our next goal is to work with over 1000 young people every week. To do this, we need to hire more in-school session facilitators. To do that, we need more cash available. Funds like this help us move closer to that goal. Would you consider nominating Aspire for the AIB Community fund? It takes 2 mins to complete the nomination.
We would love if you take 2-3 mins to nominate us for the AIB community fund. Nominations close 12th of June so we are into the last couple of weeks of nominations. Simply copy the following link into your browser - https://lnkd.in/eNNsfi2W and Use our name and Charity number referenced in the graphic on this post. Help us out in raising valuable funds for the work of Aspire in schools across Northern Ireland.

For the first time, the #CAF #UKGivingReport reveals the country’s generosity hotspots! We’ve mapped our research along the new parliamentary constituency boundaries to see how different areas support charities. Our interactive map lets you explore these results, showing you how many people in your area donated in 2023, how much your local area donated as a whole, and how generous people in your area are – compared to household incomes. General Management Executive. MBA. Proven record of success growing and leading industrial businesses globally.
Additional takeaway from my last post: want to help western North Carolina (WNC)? Adopt a church and make a donation directly. There is a huge logistical/ distribution problem getting aid out from the I40/US321 corridors right now (the two examples from Old Fort and Morganton provided last post plus the Town of Boone stopped taking donations Friday). As in the example provided, churches are actively engaged in helping their communities but are short on resources while local municipalities are being overrun with the influx of aid. Disaggregating the distribution approach is needed. Just as in business, small locally focused industrial distributors often provide value because of their access to and relationships with their customers. So too do churches have this access and these relationships and every community has a church. So just as I found Ed and Reggie at FBC Hildebran so too could you find a church in WNC and make a donation and help bypass the bottlenecks. Want to help WNC? Adopt a WNC church and make a donation directly.

We're proud to share our #impactreport for the financial year 2022-2023. And in doing so, we want to say #thankyou to each every person who supported us to make this all happen! Whether you have donated money, or your time, either personally or alongside your colleagues, you are absolutely the reason we can do what we do. Check it out here: https://lnkd.in/eeUa6y4R And as we near the end of the year, we are seeing record numbers of people coming to the Centre, yesterday 145 people came through our doors! This is becoming increasingly usual, with the cost of living biting, and we are asking for your help to see them all through the end of the year. Will you please #donatenow and make change a reality for every person in our community? https://lnkd.in/eNDYYvBF #ESG #CSR #socialvalue #socialimpactbusiness #corporatesocialresponsibility #manchester

There's a vibrant conversation flourishing within this platform, a dialogue rich with the exchange of knowledge—an essential cornerstone of collective growth and understanding. Yet, the essence of our discourse must evolve beyond mere conversation. We stand at a pivotal juncture, where the imperative is not merely to discuss, but to act. This call to action transcends the conventional postmodern narrative of passive resistance or symbolic gestures. We are ushered into the realm of metamodern action—a realm where the boldness to undertake significant risks, the commitment to a vision, and the drive to manifest that vision into reality, are paramount. What I advocate for is a departure from the elitist practices that have long overshadowed genuine progress. The extravagant gatherings hosted by gatekeepers, accessible only to those buoyed by privilege, or the endless theoretical musings of academics who engage in circular debates about the definitions and boundaries of metamodernism, no longer suffice. We are on the cusp of a transformative era—an era where the "regular" individual, empowered by a vision of a more equitable and compassionate world, becomes the architect of change. This is the dawn of our future—a future sculpted not by those who hold the reins of power through privilege or academic pontification, but by the collective action of individuals who dare to dream of a better world. It is a future where every step taken towards improvement, no matter how small, contributes to the larger tapestry of communal well-being. In this light, I am privileged to bear witness to the endeavors of individuals like Friday, whose courage and audacity shine as beacons of hope and inspiration. Friday's daily efforts to enhance our collective existence exemplify the metamodern spirit of taking tangible steps towards the betterment of all. This, indeed, is the essence of metamodern action: the intersection where vision, courage, and practical steps converge to forge a future that aligns with our deepest aspirations for a more inclusive, just, and thriving world for everyone.
