Did you know that I help families with babies as young as 3 months old with sleep training? It's true; I think before the 4-month regression hits, it is a great time to sleep train, especially if parents are dealing with several night wakings outside of the regular feed times, long stretches awake at night and short naps. Sleep deprivation is not sustainable, and it shouldn't be taken lightly. It's possible to help babies learn the skills necessary for independent sleep before their sleep cycles mature at 4 months old. This helps minimize the 4-month sleep regression and helps parents navigate it a whole lot more gracefully. Are you unable to be the parent you want to be because your baby has difficulty sleeping? Are you ready for an expert plan of action to help your baby learn to sleep well? Are you ready for unparalleled support, resources, and new knowledge about infant sleep? Are you ready to have your evenings back, time with your partner or just time to yourself? Are you ready to get a good night's sleep and time during the day to do what needs to be done outside of baby? Are you ready to be the patient, kind, and loving parent that you know is in there if only you could get some consolidated sleep at night? I can help with all of that and more!! Check out To The Moon and Back Sleep Consulting's Infant Sleep Training Program, link in the comments. #sleeptrainingguides #momshelpingmoms #babysleeptips #toddlerbedtime #gentlesleeptraining #bedtimebattles #drmatthewwalker #sleepthroughthenight #gentlesleepsolutions #gentlesleepcoach #sleepsense #tothemoonandbacksleepguides #bedtimeroutine #babysleephelp #infantsleephelp #toddlersleephelp #preschoolersleephelp #newbornsleephelp #yesgsleepconsultant #sleepcoach #newbornsleepconsultant #babysleepconsultant #betterbedtimes #nightwakings #maternalmentalhealth #infantmentalhealth #womenhelpingwomen #sleepconsultantedmonton #babysleepconsultantedmonton #babysleepconsultantcanada

💡 SLEEP TIP 💡 Many parents are surprised to learn that children need anywhere between 12 and 18 hours of sleep per day. The amount depends on the age of your child. Here are some guidelines, based on different age groups: » 0 – 3 months of age: about 16 – 18 hours per day » 3 – 6 months of age: about 15 hours per day » 6 – 12 months of age: about 14 hours per day » 12 months of age and up: 12 – 13 hours per day It is not until adolescence that your child’s sleep needs drop down to around 10 hours a night. As adults, around 8 hours a night will fill up our sleep cup. Consistently less than this amount of sleep each night, will lead us down the road of sleep deprivation very quickly. Honouring your sleep needs, and your child's sleep needs, will go a long way to helping you all deal with life and what it throws your way. Sickness, work pressures, relationships, kinder, school, activities, keeping your family thriving in general, it's a lot! You need every bit of help you can. Being well rested is a game changer.
