HOW TO MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN We came close to making America great again. Democracy worked in real life. We passed a comprehensive immigration reform bill. But it was vetoed by one person. We forged a compromise by which no side got all it wanted, a severe problem that had festered for over 50 years. Congratulations and kudos to all who worked on it. And let's all celebrate a victory for freedom and democracy. He saw his signature path to power escaping his grasp. His assumption of power, if not his survival, depended on chaos at the border until he could dictate his solution. His life depended on defeating democracy. Ironically, making America great again as a democracy requires rejecting the MAGA leader. We need not dwell on the virtues of the swinging pendulum and how we need it to swing again. We need what we had for a moment in immigration reform. We've now seen how he will deny reform. He will dictate his solution. Deny him. Let's make America great again.

However, the rest of the year, we often find ourselves asking, “What has this country given us?” Some may even question the meaning of celebrating Independence Day, arguing that we’re not truly independent. But let’s be honest, it’s not our country’s fault it’s the people in power who misuse their authority, prioritizing their interests over the people’s needs. Freedom is a mindset, and it’s up to each individual to embrace it. We collectively hold the power to create change, but it requires unity, faith, and discipline. Today, Catrine said she met one of the Somali leader to discuss women's participation and amendments to the constitution, These two issues are Somali internal affairs and do not concern any other actors' intervention. We have our own culture, religion, and beliefs that we would like to align with our constitution. It's something that concerns us and cannot be discussed with external parties. These matters are up to our presidency and its governance, not the UK and UN. This is the volition of national sovereignty. The UK cannot sit with Irish individuals and discuss how to solve Ireland's internal issues. Is America better off with American civilization? Absolutely. That’s why you’re here. That’s why I’m here. Or else we better immigrate to the Middle East. We value liberty, individualism, equal opportunity but different outcomes, self-government, diversity, social justice, economic freedom, free enterprise, free market, world-class education, well-developed infrastructure, and high productivity, among others. In other words, I want America to remain firmly Western in culture forever. Do you not? Do you want calling-to-prayer-using-loudspeakers-starting-at-dawn culture? You can’t sleep even if you want to. They shout “Allahu Akbar” starting at dawn across the country. Sometimes they get excited and blow themselves up. America would be a whole new ballgame were they to become a majority, for instance. Newcomers first and foremost must come here legally. They ought to assimilate the American way. Why immigrate to America if they wish to keep Third-World customs and culture? So your vote matters.

August 1st marks the day when freedom was finally granted to enslaved Africans in the Caribbean, a momentous occasion that brought an end to the inhumane practice of slavery. It symbolizes the triumph of the human spirit over oppression and serves as a testament to the resilience and courage of those who fought for their right to be free. However, as we reflect on the significance of this day, we must also acknowledge that the fight for freedom is far from over. In our modern world, we continue to still face various forms of oppression and discrimination, and the struggle for true equality and liberation continues. As we commemorate Emancipation Remembrance Day, let us remember the sacrifices and struggles of those who came before us and recommit ourselves to fighting for a more just and equitable society.
