1 in 5 people will get cancer, what can you do about it? Today, September 24th, is #WorldCancerResearchDay. While we have made significant progress in fighting cancer, 1 in 5 people will receive this horrible diagnosis and 1 in 10 of us will die from it according to the WHO. With those odds, we or a loved one are likely to be impacted by cancer. Consider learning more about this disease, what you can do about it, and how you can help to advance research to fight it. And a special bonus in the Philadelphia area, consider a double win: the Philadelphia Marathon (and half marathon and 8k 😉) on Nov 22-24 is in partnership with the American Association for Cancer Research

This is simply pointing to a successful plan of the healthcare system… Over-diagnosis and over-treatment! …anyone who has been in this business for any amount of time knows that every major healthcare entity focuses on this goal… How to engage women? (code for… How to get Women to spend money on your healthcare products, services, medication’s, etc.) Step 1: Tell women nobody cares about them, and they are under represented, ignored, a victim Step 2: Scare them by telling them all of the diseases they could have based on every minor symptom, every emotional feeling they have and give them a huge dose of “silent killers” Step 3: Suck them in & sell them, your preventative screening, vaccinations, diagnostic tests, medications, etc Step 4: keep them coming back for more & more… because the results are ambiguous and you can never be too safe Like most things in healthcare today… This is operating exactly as planned
What is going on with women? If you’re a woman under the age of 65, you’re now more likely to develop cancer than a man” in that same age group, said Dr. William Dahut, the American Cancer Society’s chief scientific officer. Cancer rates for women in the U.S. have risen over the past half-century, particularly among women under age 65 diagnosed with breast cancer, the American Cancer Society said Thursday. Men, meanwhile, have experienced a decline in cancer rates compared with prior decades. https://buff.ly/4g4o66C
