I often get asked, what is JobsOhio and what do you do? This is a great article on how we were stood up, what our mission is, and some of the work we do (a lot of it is behind the scenes!). We truly are a one of a kind economic development organization.

Sherpa-for-hire (executive-level to individual contributor level hands-on heavy-lifting problem-solver in Life Sciences Manufacturing who actually does real work.)
As a person who has a health problem, which type of medical doctor do you prefer: A or B? A: the doctor who takes barely 30 seconds to listen to you and look you over, proclaims a diagnosis, prescribes some standard textbook plan of action and then says “Have a nice day! Here’s my bill. If you need anything more, I’m happy to bill you more for the additional time.” B: the truly caring and expert doctor like Dr. Betsy Peerless of TriHealth in Mason, Ohio USA who listens intently to everything you say, and how you say it, how it is the same or different from previous visits, how your particular individual health conditions and situation can and do influence both the status quo and the path forward, and then putting your brains together in a bona fide cooperative dialog to figure out the best possible path forward for this particular case at this particular time? If you like choice B for Betsy better, and if your life sciences manufacturing operation has problems, then you’re going to love working with DLW Partners. If you want some help – some real help – please call me or anyone at DLW Partners; I and my team can and do fix those problems whether they are quality, technical, operational, compliance, cultural or all of the above. We care, we listen, and we know many ways to help you. I have personally helped fix QMS and manufacturing operations subject to 3 FDA Consent Decrees, 8 Warning Letters, and many 483’s, so we definitely have the experience to help you too. Bottom line: If your life sciences manufacturing operation has problems, please call me or anyone at DLW Partners because we can and will fix those problems whether they are quality, technical, operational, compliance, cultural or all of the above. Best of all, there's no harm in simply contacting us to learn more about how we can help you, so please don't hesitate, just call us. Your ops and your stakeholders will thank you. Supporting Indiana manufacturers thru advocacy & resources provided by the Indiana Manufacturers Association
Longevity. Staying power. Sometimes it's underappreciated. Sometimes it shapes the foundation of something to be celebrated. I am particularly appreciative of the longevity & stability of the Indiana Manufacturers Association and our membership. For 123 years now, the IMA has served as a support system for the manufacturing industry providing legislative advocacy & business resources. The longevity of some of our members is nothing short of astounding. Consider for a moment, the cumulative impact of these long time member companies. 114 companies with 50+ years of membership 74 companies with 40+ years of membership 171 companies with 30+ years of membership 126 companies with 20+ years of membership 280 companies with 10+ years of membership Their support of the IMA's mission to advocate for a pro-business environment is unwavering, and their commitment to strengthening our industry is steadfast. It is a privilege to serve all of these members & be able to play a very small role in the legacy they are leaving on our industry. We are so thankful for your support! The Indiana Manufacturers Association Shaping our industry Since 1901 #IMA #manufacturing

How many times have you heard or thought that associations are a thing of the past, or that an association has no relevance today. Well there is disagreement and here let's look briefly at how #manufacturingassociations are just as pertinent in todays’s business environment as they have ever been. Manufacturing associations are vital hubs that bring together industry leaders, innovators, and experts in the field of #manufacturing. They serve as catalysts for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and advocacy, ensuring the sustained growth and success of the manufacturing sector. These associations provide a platform for members to network, exchange best practices, and stay updated on the latest trends and technologies. In an industry as dynamic as manufacturing, these associations offer numerous benefits that are hard to find elsewhere. By fostering a sense of community, they encourage healthy competition while promoting camaraderie among members. The strength lies in the collective expertise, enabling members to address challenges, identify opportunities, and emerge stronger together. Remember, the strength of manufacturing associations lies in the people who form these communities. Together, they can build a brighter tomorrow, where innovation, camaraderie, and sustainability flourish within the manufacturing industry. As we like to say at COMA, let us all work together for a stronger Oklahoma. #mfg #manufacturers #manufacturer #industryconnections

"What Have I Learned from Michael Schumacher? 🚀 "Mainly the words of the German national anthem, as he seemed to win every single race." These were the sentiments expressed by Mark Gallagher, a distinguished former senior executive at the Formula 1 Red Bull Racing & Red Bull Technology, whom I had the pleasure of meeting at Novo Nordisk's Global Legal, Patents, and Compliance summit held this week. ⚕ The summit focused on Novo Nordisk's legal function and its crucial role in advancing the mission to assist patients suffering from serious chronic diseases. Mark Gallagher and other senior Novo executives shared valuable insights, from which I gathered the following takeaways: 1️⃣ You cannot sue your way out of a problem - People tend to think of litigators as Gandalf-like saviors who will come to help at first light on the 5th day. And they will, and they will try to help. But it should always be remembered that the best litigation, especially in life sciences, is the one that never takes place. 2️⃣ Risk is the price for pursuing opportunity - Risk is inevitable in an industry that's ultimate product interferes with human biology. And yet, it is human health that will be significantly improved if dedicated women and men in science (and their supporting functions) get it actually right. 3️⃣ You do not ever want islands of excellence and ocean of mediocrity - share information, help each other to grow, set a common goal and then disagree on how to get there, push each other. and most importantly 4️⃣ The good old days are now - Rather than constantly fixating on the future, take time to appreciate the present. What a cliché and yet, majority of the people reading this post on LinkedIn are truly privileged in their lives, their professions, and their surroundings. Be humble and embrace it.
