Let’s go deeper into this… Reels are like a personal resume and stories are more for interactions. Because reels will be there forever you have to make sure they’re top quality… So when people flick through your page they get a good impression. The difference with stories is that they’ll be gone after 24 hours. Meaning you can play around a bit more with them. But not so much that you go off topic of course! Keep this in mind for your page and if you like this… Click the link in the bio for more!

Is your resume a laundry list of everything that you've ever done? Or is it a concise marketing document that highlights your amazingness and points directly at what you want next? Make these easy fixes to your resume to get attention. 1. Include a brief description of the company that includes 2-3 quantifiable items regarding the role you had there. 2. Follow that with 3-5 bullets that are impact and/or result driven. They should be about what YOU did for the company, and not what you did in a typical day. Why were they better off with you in their company? 3. Bold the items that you want to stand out that point directly at the position you are wanting next! We've been conditioned to not brag...to be humble. But your resume is your place to shine! Don't dim your amazingness! -------- Need help in getting your resume noticed? You sent your resume into the void, only to hear crickets. 🦗🦗🦗🦗 Here's how to deal: 1. Don't jump to conclusions: There could be many reasons for the silence - perhaps they're just swamped. Do not take it personally. 2. Follow up: Show continued interest but don't go overboard. 3. Connect: Reach out to other people at the company and ask to jump on a quick call to hear more about their experience- you never know what connection can become your internal advocate. 4. Stay active: Just because you're waiting for one response, doesn't mean you should stop applying elsewhere. Keep going! 5. Stay Positive: Don't let the silence get you down. Your value doesn't decrease based on someone's inability to see your worth. Remember, it's their loss if they ghost you. Keep going friends. ❤️

🙋♂️ Hey job seeker! I know you are feeling discouraged right now but READ THIS: You have been sending out those applications, hearing nothing back, and facing rejection after rejection. It’s frustrating, I know. But listen—this is just part of the journey. It’s tough, but it’s not the end. This is what you need to do: Customize your applications. Don’t just send the same resume everywhere. Tailor it to each job, focusing on the skills and experience that matter most for that specific role. And make sure your cover letter shows why you're the perfect fit. Reach out directly: Don’t wait for opportunities to come to you. Get in touch with hiring managers, HR, or even people already working at the company. A personal, well-crafted message can make you stand out from the crowd. Set a goal for yourself: 5 strong applications and 2 meaningful connections every day. It’s not about luck—it’s about consistency. Keep at it, and soon enough, you'll start seeing results. I know it’s tough, but just do it !! What do you say?

Something I wish I had known before I started to find a new job. Dont use your personal email account. Have a separate one for your resume and applications.

Do you ever have those blissful moments where you stop and think: "You know what, I contribute a lot of value to workplace X" or "I feel like I'm really improving and making a difference with my ability to Skill X" or simply "I'm pretty great" Hopefully you've made at least 1 or all 3 admissions of confidence at some stage and if you know what i'm talking about (or now know what to look out for), this is the time to... UPDATE YOUR RESUME! It doesn't matter if there's no update-resume-worthy roles in sight or if you're in a committed relationship with your current workplace. Use that lightning in a bottle confidence NOW to cook up something good on paper and save it for when you're inspired to click "Apply" 😎 . It's like that awkward ice breaker question where everyone has to go around a circle and share a fun fact about themselves. Very tricky under pressure, but you can usually think of something actually "fun" to say when the moment's passed 🫠 Update that resume!
