Nation Builder at the SAMEA 9th Biennial Conference: Vuca-Vuka 🚀 We’re thrilled to be attending and exhibiting at the South African Monitoring Evaluation Association SAMEA Conference, where the theme, Vuca-Vuka: Catalysing Change through Monitoring and Evaluation, calls for bold and transformative action! The Opening Plenary was, well, opened by Deputy Minister Seiso Mohai of the Department of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation. The 30 Years of Democracy Panel Discussion addressed the intersection of government policy and academic support reminding us of the need for just, equitable, and inclusive systems, especially as we mark 30 years post-democracy. Our Chief Impact Officer, Anniza de Wet (née Burnett) de Wet, serves as the conference chair, and her passion for driving impactful change continues to inspire us! 🙌 We're learning so much from fellow exhibitors and delegates as we connect, share, and build stronger partnerships. 🍬 At our stand, we’re sharing Vuka Nougats that symbolise nation-building—delegates are placing their empty wrappers on a board to form a map of South Africa, reminding us that collective efforts and shared goals are key to driving change. Just as monitoring and evaluation are crucial, we believe that it’s through our shared impact that we can truly shape a better future.
