One of my friend lately asked me to explain in simple terms how Quantum Computing embeds Automata Theory, here are my thoughts: ----- Quantum Automata Theory uses concepts from our traditional Set Theory to describe how quantum systems can be in multiple states at once (superposition), how they transition between states probabilistically, and how they can be linked to each other (entanglement). It's like dealing with sets where elements can be in multiple places at once and transitions between elements are probabilistic. Understanding these principles can open up new possibilities in computing, cryptography, and beyond.
