Israel's unprecedented aerial strike on Iranian targets early this morning has redefined the scope of modern warfare. Covering over 2,000 km with 100+ aircraft. This meticulously planned operation is one of the largest air campaigns in military history, reportedly involving F-35 'Adir' stealth jets among other aircraft.
The strike possibly navigated through Saudi and Jordanian airspace, showcasing not only the tactical prowess of the Israeli Air Force but also navigating complex regional dynamics.
Future generations will undoubtedly study this mission as a landmark in aerial warfare strategy. A must-learn for all military history and geopolitics enthusiasts.
Great videos in the first half!
My favorite part is the third engagement where the beam terminates then passes as the target fails.

Looks like the future of counter drone technology has arrived!
A combination of the below laser technology and radar coupled with radio direction finders would reduce the drones attacks threats to almost none.
I can see a future where this technology is mounted on many part of large cities outskirts and would be able to destroy armies of drones.
The main decisive factor here is going to be the cost of deployment, looking forward to seeing this live🤩

The Maneuverist returns!
After a long hiatus, we're excited to bring you new articles on a wide range of topics, from leadership to wargaming.
First up: Marine Major Joshua Burchfield delivers a thought-provoking critique of Marine Corps Combat Operations Center (COC) TTPs. He argues that current practices leave COCs vulnerable to devastating strikes in future wars and that the Corps must adopt more effective methods and mindsets.

"Over the past several years, multiple force-on-force exercises have witnessed the effective targeting and destruction of tactical command posts in unscripted scenarios. Troublingly, these instances have yet to cause any significant service-wide changes in how we conduct COC operations."
Do you think Marine COC TTPs need to evolve? Have personal experiences or insights on this topic? We'd love to hear your thoughts here or over at The Maneuverist!

In modern warfare, long-range capabilities pose a significant challenge. How do we strike effectively while remaining elusive and resilient?
One solution discussed at the 4ID MDO Symposium: distributed operations with a focus on logistical agility. Imagine a network of dispersed bases, each capable of launching strikes and supporting rapid redeployment. This approach keeps the enemy guessing and allows us to maintain the initiative. - U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Daniel K. Staggs, senior enlisted leader assigned to 13th Air Support Operations Squadron
