Did you know that less than 1% of philanthropic funding in the U.S. in the last five years went to organizations supporting military personnel and families? Boldly Go recently completed a landscape analysis focused on understanding the needs of military personnel as they transition to civilian life. Our research suggests that a holistic approach to supporting well-being is needed to help veterans and their families thrive and live fulfilling civilian lives. Funders have several notable opportunities to make an impact in the lives of veterans and their families including supporting efforts to: -Fight isolation and support connectedness among veterans -Increase awareness of available benefits and resources -Customize transition support services instead of providing a "one size fits all" approach -Support vulnerable populations such as women veterans or military children who have unique needs and challenges If you are interested in one or more of these opportunities to support military personnel and families, let's talk about how Boldly Go can support your strategy development and implementation.

🤜🤛 Arterium has been awarded the "Veteran-Friendly" award from Veteran Hub , a national charitable organization that helps veterans transition from military service to civilian life. 👉 This recognition is awarded to companies that, through their example, are changing the culture of employment for demobilized soldiers in Ukraine. 📢 Friendly attitudes towards veterans, support, and understanding in the workplace are norms that need to be implemented in every Ukrainian business. As part of its veteran policy, Arterium has initiated the "Caring for You" program, aimed at supporting four groups of people: mobilized employees, their relatives, demobilized employees, and employees with relatives in the military. ✔ We are changing ourselves and helping other companies to change by sharing our experience in implementing veteran programs. #Arterium #Veteran #helping #military #Friendly

Did you wish people a happy Veterans Day this year? Did you? Did you do anything to help veterans since then? How about military families? A lot of us say Veterans Day is every day, why? Because you can help a veteran any day if the year! You can donate to veteran causes, we all know that, but let’s kick it up a notch. If you’re working, can you network with a veteran? How about hiring one, or training one? If you’re not in a supervisory role can you mentor one? If none of these options work, you can always volunteer. Why? Because it’s Tuesday and a great day to empower a veteran. What are other great ways we can support veterans and military families?

11/15/2023 Update part 2 The feeling that we are truly in this together never ceases to surprise. We have been doing this for 40 days now, and no matter where we turn, we are all unified like it is day 1. Which takes me to the organization It Takes a Village. Thanks to your donations, we have done some amazing things. At the start of the war, we identified the immediate needs of military reservists on the front. On October 7, most of the Citizens Army was drafted and reported for duty without taking the time to pack. Almost everyone is in the Citizens Army here, until age 40-45. These reservists, including women, serve 30 days in their respective units, on average during a typical year. The draft usually results in 60-70% attendance. This draft for the war resulted in 150% reporting for immediate duty. Every system in Israel was and still is overwhelmed. That’s where our grassroots organization stepped in. Here is a non-inclusive list of the non-tactical gear we have bought and supplied immediately to soldiers on the front (after vetting with our operations team of ex-IDF officers):
