We welcome the Land Use Framework. As a society, we can and must take a more strategic view of how we use land to deliver the Government's legal targets to halt and reverse nature decline, while enabling the food, new homes and infrastructure England needs. #LandUseFramework
Sounds like a really worthwhile exercise, but I wonder if there are plans to consult with historic environment practitioners to understand things like historic landscape character and archaeological potential, which would enrich the understanding of the natural environment and inform future plans
We need to look at this in more detail before any meaningful comment can be made!
All this is just a worthy side show if we don't stop 1m a year net immigration. The whole country will be concreted over by 2050.
Frequent use of "joined up" approach in this, yet interestingly NE are anything but. So this is either we don't have a clue plan with some fancy wording and hope that you can fool people or admission you need help. I share one of your goals, except the only way to achieve it is get rid of this ALB and it's faffing in messing up the countryside and destroying farming on the back of mission impossible aka zero carbon targets.
