Almost 9 years ago today we wrote the following article: "An Example of a One-Parameter Family of Rank-One Convex Stored Energies for Isotropic Compressible Solids" in journal of Elasticity. In this article we have demonstrated by hand a connection between Hook's law and the Neo-Hookean model by a family of one-parameter state equations. We can extend this family numerically for sure. But are there other similar families? How does the Taylor impact test work for such a family?
