The Monkeysphere It’s a fascinating concept that can revolutionize how we view social relationships and network dynamics! The Monkeysphere, or Dunbar's Number, suggests that humans can only maintain stable social relationships with about 150 people. This number includes friends, family, and acquaintances. Beyond this limit, connections tend to become less personal and meaningful. Why is this important? • Network Management: In the digital age, we’re connected to thousands of people online. Understanding the Monkeysphere helps us prioritize meaningful interactions over quantity. • Business Relationships: For businesses, it emphasizes the importance of nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders rather than trying to engage everyone superficially. • Community Building: Creating close-knit communities, whether at work or in social circles, leads to more supportive and effective networks. How to Apply It: • Focus on Quality: Invest time in cultivating deeper connections with a core group of people. • Effective Networking: Identify and maintain relationships with those who truly matter to your personal and professional growth. • Community Engagement: Build and participate in smaller, more focused groups where meaningful interactions can flourish. THE 3 KEYS TO SUCCESS 1. Leverage Your Community You don’t need to drop mucho dinero to market your company. Also, “dinero” is spanish for “show me the pesos.” Try sponsoring a charity walk, a sexy car wash, or a fundraiser (especially if it’s for an animal shelter or for animals with sex problems). People love that type of content. Print up fake court summons and leave them under your neighbors' doors. Then, when they get to court, have a nice booth and some free samples. They’ll say, “I’m extremely relieved that I’m not being tried for vehicular manslaughter and also, how about one of those free samples, please?” Community leveraged.  2. Collaborate How many times a day do you hear “maybe you should put together a group of synergistic, non-competitive businesses in your area and agree to cross promote?” More than once, probably. If I know one thing, it's that teamsmanship is the best. All the great teams collaborate: X-men, Avengers, the New York Mets, the cast of ‘Friends’, the Manson family, etc. No one makes it alone and nobody likes a loner. One counterpoint would be that Wolverine is successful and a definite loner. But as a general rule of thumb: unless you’re Wolverine, try and collaborate and be cool with other businesses & people. 3. Network Where would the lowly spider be without her web? Probably still living with Travis and working at that K-Mart on Route 2, that’s where. I’m a huge fan of networking. Remember that every new person you meet reinforces your network and personal value. Think of each connection you make as another Brick in your Wall of Success, much like in Pink Floyd’s “The Wall” where the “wall" symbolized success & happiness.

Fellowship Business Minds (FBM) # 1. Attend Networking Events Look for networking events in your area, such as industry conferences, meetups, or professional association gathering. It is an excellent opportunity to network and meet professionals in a relaxed and social setting. # 2. Join Online Communities Engage in online forums and communities related to your field or interests. Engage with professionals worldwide via platforms such as Linkedin, industry-specific forums, and social media groups. # 3. Utilize Social Media Take advantage of social media platforms such as Linkedin, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook to connect with professionals in your field. Develop your online presence by joining thought-provoking groups, following thought-provoking individuals, and engaging with relevant content. # 4. Volunteer Volunteer for industry-related events, conferences, or charitable organizations. Additionally, volunteering provides you with the opportunity to meet other volunteers, organizers, and leaders in your community.

We’re creating a very interesting and potentially very important community in Las Vegas. It’s called “Uvolution” (Short for Your Evolution) @Uvolution.io “Uvolution Social Group” (“USG”is a not-for-profit part of it. ) USG holds free coffee meet and greets, lunches, and dinners. The only cost is what you consume with 100% going to the coffee shop or restaurant. We had some amazing people show up at our dinner last night, the Chief of Staff to the LTGov, Rudy Pamentuen and his wife, a neuroscientist, the Counsel General to Romania and the Counsel General to South Korea, several authors and businesspeople, computer programmers, blockchain entrepreneurs, lawyers and doctors. The community is growing. I go to every event never knowing who if anyone will show up. No rsvp and no advance payment is required. People just come. And it keeps surprising me how many new people I’m meeting. There’s a real need for this. And people not only see it - they feel it. They all know that now is a time for community. A time to come together. It’s an increasingly uncertain time. And humans naturally and instinctively come together in times of crisis. We thrive in communities. The great work is done by teams.
