The Superyacht Base WA company has announced that they have secured the contract for a new superyacht marina in Japan, named the Superyacht Base Kobe Marina. Construction on the marina will start in April 2025, with a full yacht service opening in 2026 and a full opening with surrounding infrastructure taking place in 2027. Best way to spend €3 million in one week? I can’t say I know firsthand, but I’d bet a charter aboard Renaissance would top the list. With a price tag of €3 million per week, Renaissance offers luxury across 112m that accommodates up to 36 guests in 19 staterooms. She was designed by Bannenberg & Rowell Design, naval architecture by Marin Teknikk AS, and built by the Spanish shipyard Freire in 2023. To me, no superlative does her justice.
