The world got a little darker today...one of the best human beings is in heaven sipping pumpkin spice lattes. Mark Irvine was a one of a kind force for good. He was brilliant. He was kind. He had a wicked sense of humor. He made everyone around him better. All the healing and zen vibes to Mark's family and those grieving his loss. His memory will be a blessing to all of us lucky enough to have known him. 3/24/1989 - 5/2/2024....it's not enough time for how much goodness and light you represented to be in the world. You were like a brother to me, and I'm so eternally grateful that I registered on your care radar. I'll miss getting to sass industry things with you. Finding excuses to indulge in work travel pampering with you. Hearing about your favorite topic in the world in fun and exciting new ways. But most importantly, I'll miss your amazing perspective and how incredibly wise and compassionate you were. You're going to be so missed. Here's to doing less (and being worth so much more ❤)

I'm really upset. We all are going to miss him very much :-(
Very sad. Big loss. When I think of people at WordStream that were rising stars and had so much talent, and took advantage of it and grew tremendously, Mark was firmly in that camp. On top of all of that, he had an incredible sense of humor and cared a lot about our company, culture, and its people. My condolences to his colleagues, friends and family.
This is just heartbreaking. Mark was a one-of-a-kind bright light of smarts, wit and warmth. I often think of his first time speaking, which was at an SMX Advanced, because he was so wonderful to work with leading up to it and then such a joy to watch him soar with success on stage -- and he just kept soaring. I'm so sorry Navah for this deep loss. He will be so missed.
I’m so sorry to hear of his passing, and I send my thoughts to you, his family and all of his friends. Mark was one of the first PPC speakers that I ever saw. I sat at the front of the room, frantically scribbling notes on all the amazing things he was sharing, and all of the inspiration his talk gave me. His talk was my introduction to what being a PPC speaker meant: helpful, actionable, friendly and humble ❤️
I’m in absolute shock. It just seems impossible to fathom that Mark - wonderful, funny, fully alive, full of fun and laughter Mark - is no more. The world is indeed darker today as a result. I’m so sorry Navah, I know he was a brother to you. Mark will be so very much missed. So many wonderful memories together. 💔
Love to you. Mark was so talented and such a wonderful friend. Thank you for honoring him 💔. How lucky we all are that he shared his light with us.
💔 I was so sad to hear this news. Thanks for the lovely tribute, Navah. Mark was such a bright light and brought so much joy and energy to Wordstream (and to the whole PPC world who saw him speak). Love to his friends and family.
I remember Mark teaching me how the Google Ads auction worked during my first week at WordStream. I had no idea at the time how significantly that conversation would change my life. My condolences :(
