"OVERCOMING HEARTBREAK " First of all there is a great difference between being grateful for what we have and settling for less than we deserve. If we will listen to our childish minds, we are surely attracted to those people who are not that good for us but make us feel better in the moment during building relationship. But we should not wrap our self esteem around someone else whose presence could be in future turnaround into verbal, emotional, or physical abuse. In every relationship we surely have the opportunity to set the level of joy we expect and the level of pain we will accept. No matter what thought we have, we should not run away from it. We should give ourselves space to assess and make changes. Go SPOT, STOP and SWAP. And at the last but surely not the least, IF YOU HAVE LOST YOURSELF IN THE RELATIONSHIP, FIND YOURSELF IN THE HEARTBREAK.

As your fellow friend in our awesome connecting career bubbles, I feel inclined to squeeze your hand and gently remind you this crazy, simple truth: You can do it different this year. 1. You don’t have to have a full schedule. 2. You don’t have to play the comparison game of someone’s Christmas bonus to your own; or the store bought entree to the homemade pumpkin pie champion at Thanksgiving. 3. You don’t have to put more on your plate. 4. You don’t have to spend money you don’t have in the budget. 5. You don’t have to scroll social media to escape the gifting presents with your presence. In fact, you never even have to start the self-inflicted hustle and bustle of stressful seasons ever again. You control your response. One of the most powerful and freeing things I’ve ever learned was it’s okay to live differently— honoring the LORD with my life should look different. I love you too much for you to miss out on the joy the next two months brings, and blessings it could contain. I’m thankful for our LinkedIn community and the joyful blessings of Christ.
