I recently had the incredible opportunity to attend a guest lecture by Mr. Suraj Chettri, VP HR at Airbus India & South Asia. His insightful discussion on the aviation industry was truly eye-opening, as he shared his extensive experience and unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities shaping the sector.
As someone who is passionate about the future of aviation in India, I found Mr. Chettri's insights to be both fascinating and inspiring. He highlighted the immense potential of India's aviation market, despite its current growth, emphasizing that there is still so much untapped potential waiting to be explored.
One of the most interesting aspects of his talk was his discussion of Airbus' involvement in the HEMS program, where they are partnering with HAL to produce vital helicopters for medical and defence services. It was heartening to see a company like Airbus taking such an active role in supporting critical infrastructure and services in India.
Mr. Chettri also spoke about Airbus' commitment to sustainability and innovation, which was evident in their ongoing work on the A380 and their exploration of hydrogen as an alternative fuel.
