#credentialingservices #behavioralhealth Anthem/Carelon Behavioral Health Credentialing/Contracting: Within this last year it has become a living nightmare for Behavioral Healthcare Providers navigating the Anthem changeover to Carelon, who handles the behavioral health side of Credentialing/Contracting for Anthem. Here's How To End This Nightmare All Together: 1) If your practice already has an "existing contract" with Anthem and you need to add a provider to your existing Anthem Contract, you will need to upload a "Roster Update Form" into Availity and it will be submitted solely to Anthem. **Note: the new provider still needs to be Credentialed by Carelon before Anthem adds new provider to your existing contract** 2) If your practice "does not" have an existing Anthem Contract that went into effect before Jan 2023, you will have to initiate enrollment via the Carelon Behavioral Health website. **Contact me directly for the Anthem Roster Template** Availity's Roster Upload in PDM

A small shift in our healthcare model makes all the difference. Our current model of "a pill for the ill" is simply not working. Our elderly population is getting larger and becoming more vocal about the quality of life they wish to have. So gone are the days when we give patients prescriptions and expect them to 'take as prescribed'. Our patients are seeking a chance to be a part of the decision-making process surrounding their health. And we owe it to them to listen and provide all possible options for their care. This is where value-based care deprescribing comes in. Deprescribing clinicians can benefit from a fee-for-service model where they are able to cater to the persons who are seeking their expertise. If you are ready to be paid for the value you bring to your patients through deprescribing, apply for my deprescribing accelerator HERE 👉🏾https://zurl.co/sR7x There are only a few spots left in this Fall Cohort 2024. #deprescribing #patientcare #valuebasedcare #redpill #geriatrx
