'My Journey with Sensivision: Creating an Ad for REVIVE'
Thank you Jayadeep Unni sir for this wonderful opportunity to work with Sensivision Health Technologies on an ad for Sensivision's revolutionary device, REVIVE.
Here is a sneak-peek into the process:
Step 1: Understanding the Mission
I began with a visit to Sensivision’s office, where I had the privilege of interacting with Jayadeep Unni, the founder. His transparency about the company’s journey, challenges, and the impact of HIE on families and healthcare workers gave me a profound sense of purpose.
Step 2: Research and Preparation
The team provided me with resources, including product details, testimonials, and brand guidelines. I dove into research, creating a reference document that would guide the creative process. The aim was clear: balance emotional storytelling with factual precision to resonate with healthcare professionals and decision-makers.
Step 3: Audience Analysis
To craft an effective narrative, I analyzed the target audience:
Primary: Neonatologists and NICU nurses who would use the device.
Secondary: Hospital administrators, biomedical teams, and trust hospitals focused on advanced neonatal care.
Step 4: Building the Narrative
The story needed to convey 3 key messages:
1. Apprehension - The devastating impact of HIE.
2. Hope - REVIVE as a solution offering hope and precision.
3. Responsibility - A call to action for hospitals to adopt this life-saving technology.
I developed five scripts, each emphasizing different angles. With feedback from Jayadeep Sir and senior industry professional Ashim Purohit, we refined the final script, focusing on REVIVE’s unique brain monitoring capability. One line that stayed with me from Mr. Ashim sir was, "Create confidence in buyers."
Step 5: Audio and Visual Design
I started by narrating the script using an AI voice and pairing it with music to define the pacing and tone. Storyboarding followed, blending motion graphics, kinetic typography, and real-life visuals of REVIVE to highlight both emotional and technical aspects.
Step 6: Refinement and Delivery
The project involved close collaboration with Sensivision’s team. Feedback loops helped polish the visuals and messaging to ensure clarity and impact.
This project was a deeply fulfilling experience. It taught me the power of storytelling in addressing critical healthcare challenges. I’m grateful to Jayadeep Sir for trusting me with this opportunity to Ashim Sir for his insights, and to the entire team of sensivision. This wasn’t just about making an ad—it was about contributing to a mission that offers hope to families during their most challenging times.
