Every person in an at risk sales spot should look at this as something similar to a non negotiable. When you are face to face with a client, be curious, be bold, be concerned for the Client and what they need, and if your product can solve that need - don't be afraid to offer it!! If you do not have something that can impact and help your client don't try to sell, thank them instead be honest with them and you'd be amazed at how this will come back to benefit in the future.

Love this idea, if you talk like sales people you get treated like sales. Not that that’s bad but you have a really hard time as you might get lost with all the other sales reps noise. He nails this, look at how the client reacts when you have your supervisor or maybe the owner ride with you, it’s totally different. Learn and know the client’s business talk his talk and find how how to solve his issues and where he stands with you. And yes talk like the owner of your company, within reason and see how things change.
