As we rip into the 2024, we continue to be blown away with the number of farmers and growers we have surfing.
Enquires have increased, surfers numbers have increased which highlights the growth of Surfing For Farmers.
With this comes a new set of challenges ... Expectations from our community and our focus on WHY we are here and WHO we support.
Staying true to our mission and prioritising the well-being of farmers and growers is crucial for the sustainability of Surfing For Farmers.
Focusing on the WHY and WHO, helps maintain clarity and purpose.
Recognising the importance of the heads of families and the impact their well-being has on the entire community by creating a space where farmers and growers can put themselves first for one night a week. Not only provides them with a much-needed break but also fostering a sense of community and support.
Managing expectations is a challenge, but by keeping our core values at the forefront, ensures Surfing For Farmers remains a valuable and inclusive space.
Children are welcome but adults are prioritised. This is a thoughtful approach to balancing family involvement while addressing the primary needs of the farmers and growers.
Continuing to adapt to the changing landscape while staying true to our roots will be key to sustained success and we will continue to make a positive impact on the lives of farmers and growers.
