International Yoga Day is a reminder for all of us to look beyond the daily activities of life and focus on our own self. Yoga, as old as Rig Veda, means Union of the individual consciousness with the Universal consciousness. The Rich heritage of Yogic science gives India an edge which can be utilised not just diplomatically but also domestically. The longevity of Yogic practices will contribute in strengthening the mental and physical health of the citizens thus boosting the benefits of demographic dividends. Internationally, the World Yoga day boosts India's historical heritage which is directly benefitting the entire world in the age of competing power politics. In order to utilise the opportunity, voluntary Yoga classes must be made available to children from early school life, to adults and senior citizens in the social gatherings. One important aspect will be to not give Yoga a secular clothing for diluting the core aspects of Yogic practices. It must be accepted in its entirety for the benefit of the greater good. On this day, of International Yoga Day, let us encourage the people of every age to create a happy and healthy world. Yoga is about how we feel comfort. It is a path of wisdom to develop a greater resilience. Benefits of being ecofriendly, is to avoid harsh situation which may reduce the risk of illness. We can practice yoga in open green space where one can breath and feel clean air. The objective of yoga is to attain a higher level of consciousness which increases mental fitness. It reduces stress and improves mood. Ecofriendly yoga mat is required for comfortable yoga poses. While practising yoga, wearing a loose dress helps our body for free movement and also intake of oxygen easily. It promotes to creat a sustainable environment during yoga practices. Gurudev @SriSri Ji's Message on International Yoga Day, "Today, when the whole world is passing through a crisis, Yoga has proven to be a boon for mankind. Correct diagnosis of diseases, resolution of problems and boost in self-confidence, is what we see happening through Yoga. The mind remains happy. The intellect becomes sharp. And who doesn't have to do Yoga? We all have to do. But due to lethargy, we just give excuses by saying, 'I don't have time now' etc. You get benefits of Yoga to the extent you give time to it. So, please do Yoga. Do Pranayam. Sit for a while and do Meditation. Without Pranayama and Meditation, Yoga remains just a physical exercise. When we apply all the 8 limbs of Yoga in life, viz., Yama, Niyama, Asanas, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana and Samadhi, we can clearly see the fundamental changes occur in life. We can move from weakness towards strength, from misery towards happiness and towards health. So, come on, let us motivate and inspire all people in this direction. Everyone has to do Yoga. It is not that you have to follow any particular faith for doing Yoga. It doesn't matter which belief you follow or which community you belong to. Anyone can do Yoga. It will prove to be a boon for you. When we go through a time of crisis, we need more positivity, and it is that positivity which gives us strength. And we attain this positivity through Yoga, Meditation and Pranayam. When the whole world is passing through a crisis, Yoga has proven to be a boon for mankind. It has proven to be a precious gift to the whole world from Bharat. All in our country from youngsters to elders are required to do Yoga. By doing Yoga, not only we become positive, but we will also succeed in creating a positive environment all around us. Today, it has become very necessary. When people are going through pain, suffering and misery, it is very necessary to awaken confidence and courage in them. Yoga can certainly make this happen. Therefore, wherever people are going through a negative attitude, speak to them and appeal them to do Yoga. Those who are positive and enthusiastic also should do Yoga, so that their enthusiasm stays on. Of all the days celebrated now, I love celebrating International yoga Day every day! Had a wonderful start to this week with one of my dearest colleagues Harsha Sharma creating an opportunity to do Meditation with some of our younger colleagues during Quarterly Reward & Recognition session! Enjoyed doing that. Grateful to Anjana Singh Shivas Bhatt Neha Kaushal Shilpy Das Anubhav Pare⚡️ Ashish Jain Shashi for the opportunity! Today celebrations started at 6 am courtesy Medanta Hospital (Gurgaon) Kartikeya Bhargava Piyush Kumar Ajay Chawla Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Art of Living . Had a wonderful yoga session with 300+ people with nice weather. Dr Kartikeya Bhargava explained significance of yoga in daily life. He along with his team of doctors completed 108 Surya Namaskar few days ago on the eve of International yoga day. From celebrating the first yoga day at Rajpath, Delhi it has been a memorable journey to celebrate the 10th International yoga day! May every one be fit, healthy and happy always! Remember the Guinness World Records title we achieved 10 days ago? It was a dream come true, but THIS one touched my soul… 🥹 A couple of days ago, I received a few photos that instantly widened my smile and filled my eyes with tears of joy - A group of enthusiastic villagers were stretching and following yoga instructions. Right in front of them was a single tablet that played a Habuild yoga session. 🧘🏻 THIS is exactly why I teach yoga… THIS is exactly why my team dedicates hours and hours to work each day… THIS is exactly why we built Habuild… - to make YOGA a second nature of every Indian across different cities and rural villages. I have believed in this dream for the last decade - since I started my own journey with yoga. But today, my belief is stronger than ever. 💪🏼 I realised 3 things while I was trying to wipe my tears of joy - No. 1 - Passion finds unexpected routes: If we keep marching towards our goal, the path will start appearing unexpectedly 💯 No. 2 - Simplicity holds power: You don’t need fancy equipment. All you need is a simple wish to transform yourself and a simple step to make it real. 🤩 No. 3 - Technology is arguably the most powerful tool we have to create positive change in the world🧑💻 Our journey has just begun!
