Hi all, I hope you are having a great week so far and are ready for the weekend. I’ve been working for Advanced Engineering UK for over a year now. It's amazing to see all the incredible things happening in the industry and to envision where the future is heading. There is #engineering in every task and thing that you use, so whether you're in engineering or not, it's important to stay up to date and mostly #support the industry. If you are in the industry, you might have heard about the shortage of #skills, but if you're not, this is an invitation to support the industry in addressing this pressing issue. Today, I want to share the #MINDTHEskillGAP campaign, a dedicated space to amplify any efforts in bridging the gap in the industry. Through conversations, we found out that there is a big need for #upskilling, knowledge transfer, support, and #mentoring young generations to consider engineering and #manufacturing careers—and for me, #diversity in the industry is crucial. Especially to highlight those talented #women who can support the industry from its core. Today, two favors please: share this campaign and help us reach a wider audience, and second, share any information, #resources, or challenges you might have. This can help amplify the #challenge, inspire collaboration, and ultimately close and bridge the gap. Mind it, bridge it, close it! Did you know that Soft Skills are: ✔ increasingly being identified ✔ becoming more important ✔ at the same time harder to find ✔ being renamed Durable or Human Skills?
