We need to do better discussing fertility preservation with any cancer diagnosis for the pediatric and AYA populations. It is repeatedly cited as an unmet need and a source of stress for patients from diagnosis through survivorship. Cancer clinical trial sponsors should consider a multidisciplinary approach to fertility preservation, and financial support including associated storage fees within the context of the patients’ enrollment in a clinical trial. #oncofertilitypreservation #cancerclinicaltrials
