National Council of Social Service (NCSS)’s Post

Geospatial innovation presents myriad opportunities for the social service sector to improve its processes and resource allocation through better service planning. 💡 It also provides opportunities for tech companies to rethink how they can give back to the community in a more sustained manner by partnering with social service agencies or policymakers. Last week, Mr Jack Lim, Managing Director of Community Chest, participated in the closing plenary at Geo Connect Asia, discussing how geospatial technology could potentially be leveraged to promote an inclusive community. 🤝 As the philanthropy and engagement arm of NCSS, Community Chest has access to research and deep sector knowledge, enabling us to identify social needs and guide partners to areas where they can make the most impact. We are glad to have had the opportunity to share about the different ways companies can partner with the social service sector.
