💧 Reduction in water usage and disposal costs in a pharmaceutical laboratory💧 Every producer in the pharmaceutical industry knows that water is an essential part of the production process. Unfortunately, an excess of contaminated water means high disposal costs. A large research laboratory in a well-known international pharmaceutical company was generating 4 tons of wastewater daily. This challenge became a significant financial and environmental burden. The company's management reached out to KMC Global Europe for help in solving this issue. Immediately, together with engineers from our brand PRAB, Inc., we took action. As part of our response, the team conducted a comprehensive analysis of processes and wastewater quality. The outcome was the implementation of our EVALED® Vacuum Evaporator (Model PC F4 FF). And what were the results? ➡️ Reuse of 90% of water in the production process, reducing waste and contributing to more sustainable production. 🌱 ➡️ Significant reduction in wastewater disposal costs, which directly led to financial savings. 💰 ➡️ More mobility – the device occupies just over 3 square meters, making it perfect for environments with limited space. Perpetual Next’s patent related to air conveying of torrefied biogenic material has been granted by the EPO on 20 March 2024 and has been issued as Unitary Patent on 11 April 2024. A Unitary Patent offers protection for 17 countries of the European Union “in one go”. The patent specifies the optimum way in terms of cost and safety to convey torrefied or carbonized material. The value it offers our investors and customers is confirmed by data of operation from our plants in the UK and Estonia and project plans from our business partners. Another important step forward in our mission to make biocarbon available at scale to the industry at large.
