Nature already has the answers—we need to pay attention. I’m grateful to have been invited to join the 2024-2026 Biomimicry Professional (BPro) cohort with Biomimicry 3.8. This program isn’t just about studying; it’s about getting out there—into the ecosystems themselves. From rainforests to deserts, we’ll dive into six unique biomes, learning firsthand how nature solves complex challenges with simplicity and cooperation. Biomimicry is all about learning from nature’s designs and processes to create innovative solutions for human systems. It’s the ultimate blueprint for sustainability, taking cues from ecosystems that have been thriving for millions of years. Having walked with stakeholders on the ground across supply chains, I know the power of immersion programs. There’s no better way to see the big picture and make real connections. This time, the focus is on using biomimicry to rethink supply chains and tackle climate change from the ground up—literally. It’s about leveraging nature’s genius to create impact where it matters. I'm excited to take what I learn and put it into action.
