California Drops Advanced Clean Fleets Rule In a significant win for the trucking industry, California has abandoned its request for a waiver on the Clean Fleets (ACF) rule. The rule would have required even one-truck owner-operators to comply with strict zero-emissions mandates. The rule sought to ban new non-zero-emissions trucks from California ports unless registered with CARB. However, with the incoming Trump administration, the waiver was likely to face disapproval under the new leadership of the EPA.
