Receiving an email 16 days prior to the effective start date for this legislation change is another example of abhorrent abuse that the disability community will experience under this government. If the changes that have been rushed through to balance the books aren’t bad enough, the suggested changes to the list of supports lacks the required community consultation time. 16 days is a clear example of how the government is focused on penalising the people who need these supports rather than focusing on the real and true reasons for the budget blow outs like lack of compliance to validate services received, providers overcharging participants for services not actually rendered and a price list that is truely out of touch with the economic environment we currently reside.

I've just read the 'email' online, following the link in your text above. All I can say, yet again, is your communications remain overwhelmingly uncommunicative.

How much training will NDIS staff receive regarding the changes? My LAC wasn’t even aware of the app and I was telling her about it (as I and my children are participants). I would hate to see the staff copping complaints because training hasn’t been provided

There are only 16 days until the 3rd of October.

Whole lot of changes… following consultations with the disability communities (?? Not sure with who or how). Then email changes —- probably a day before October 3rd. Seems unstructured and rushed. Just like NDIS for every other year (schedule of price lists was issued late the day before start of new FY, so no one had any ideas).
