First Year Aerodynamics Project (2/3) The second part to this project is using STAR-CCM+ to better understand the flow around an F1 2022 rear wing and the use of DRS. DRS (Drag Reduction System) aims to angle away some of the geometry of the car (front and or rear) in order to reduce drag and reach higher top speeds. Using the same template for this model as mentioned before, two screenplays were made to demonstrate the differences when DRS is open and closed.
