#Navratri Day 3 | Chandraghanta: Stability and Strength | Grey On the third day of Navratri, we honor Goddess #Chandraghanta, a symbol of #stability and #strength. The color grey represents balance—reminding us that true strength often lies in staying grounded, no matter the circumstances. For me, it’s about finding that calm center in the midst of life’s ups and downs. As we navigate through our own challenges, it’s important to remember that strength is as much about resilience as it is about grace. Let’s carry forward the balance of this day into everything we do. #Navratri2024 #BalanceAndStrength #Resilience #NavratriDay3 #StayGrounded

Lessons from Day-7 of Navratri... Read on. "In darkness, find your light." 🕯🌗 Today, we celebrate Maa Kalaratri, the goddess who dispels darkness and ignorance. Her light reminds us to seek positivity and hope, even in challenging times. Reflection: Life is not without its struggles; however, finding light in darkness can lead to profound personal growth. Embracing positivity can change our outlook on challenges and foster resilience. Application in Life: Practise gratitude daily. Reflect on positive aspects of your life, even during tough times. In the workplace, create a supportive environment where team members can share their struggles and seek help. Recognize accomplishments and milestones, fostering a culture of positivity. #navratriday7 #navratri #day7 #navratridayseven #navratriday7 #maadurga #ambema #MaaKalratri #devotion #blessings #lessons #feelblessed #technotery #navratrilessons #lifelessons

Traveling with three generations is the ultimate reminder of convergence of age and truth. As we get older, truths change, and new truths emerge. And it is great when they converge. Like when Charles was tying Luke's shoes merely because it was easier on all of us. It was magical to be sandwiched by two men who are navigating two very different phases of life. Both are dreaming and planning — but with age and truth as very different bookends. Youth gives us the luxury of having no timeline. With age, our dreams and plans require more of a timeline to ensure we can squeeze it all in. Youth gives us the luxury of naivety. Anything and everything is possible. Age gives us the wisdom to know that regardless of what happens, it will be the right thing. The truth is that dreaming keeps us alive. It may be okay that all of our dreams don’t materialize but that all of the right ones do. #age #truth #dreams #designyourlife #naivety #possibility #dreaming #planning www.prairiegirlgroup.com

Christ driven influencer, advocate and soldier for a "Reverence for Life" , the ethos that is the love of Jesus bestowed universally. Blogger and Author of the For Our Friends the Animals quartet. Cancer survivor!
#memorialday #peace #war #humancondition #mercy #compassion #service #life #love #reverenceforlife #loveofJesus My dear friends, today in the US we celebrate Memorial Day, the day set aside to commemorate those in our military who made the ultimate sacrifice, who paid the ultimate price. As a US Army vet I join in honoring those who didn’t make it while serving our country, fully aware that my tardy enlistment (1973 vice 1971 when I was first eligible) may be what kept me from joining their ranks. My suspicions are, and I trust that this is neither sacrilegious nor disrespectful, that if those deceased military could speak to us, they would inform us how much more they would have preferred to enjoy a long life of peace, rather than a shortened time on earth due to armed conflict. Further, I suspect they would adjure us to strive for peace, renouncing the folly of war and embracing the wisdom of harmony and concord. As the image infra denotes, peace will be accomplished when mankind includes all life under the rubric of worth and value, bestowing mercy and compassion, the love espoused by Jesus, on all God’s creatures. But my friends it seems there exists a flawed assumption in Schweitzer’s thesis; namely, that we humans possess a circle of compassion. As recent events, our sordid history and our vile mistreatment of our fellow beings on earth make abundantly transparent, Homo sapiens has striven mightily to avoid the creation and completion of such a circle. Any beneficent behavior on our part is discrete, disjointed, disguised and quickly discarded. Why? Professionals in the field of human comportment are welcome to weigh in. For me, the problem lies in how we view those who are merciful, who are compassionate, who do espouse and confer the love of Jesus. Rather than laudatory, such behavior is deemed risible, vilified as weakness, censured as unmanly, the antithesis of prized soldierly virtues. While it seems indubitable that Schweitzer’s ultimate point is valid, mankind will not arrive at that irenic destination without fist retooling our own psyches. Until we can bestow mercy and compassion, provide love universally without the opprobrium conferred upon that behavior currently, no peace shall we find. Let us include and even extol among those attributes prized by our culture those of life affirmation and prolongation, not life truncation and annihilation. That is a reverence for life. That is the love of Jesus. Cum meo maximo amore!
