Like myself, though before me, Dr. John McDougall, MD was a contemporary of Nathan Pritikin. Both were pioneer legends in the science of preventing heart disease with nutrition. Dr. McDougall and I may not have agreed on every detail of nutrition and medical management. But we were directionally aligned and I have the highest respect for his achievements, especially the immense numbers of people his message helped to find freedom from disease. That is undeniable.
