Leaving Vegas after an incredible time at Shoptalk 2024! The quality of the sessions and meet-ups was fantastic with a few key themes around AI, retail media and customer experience in the stores. I tried to capture that experience in a short reel as I learned more on the role of short-form video in capturing Gen Z's attention with staggering figures like 3.5 billion shares of reels daily. In-store experiences are being redefined through tech, with a clear message: technology must enrich the customer journey, not complicate it. And as we ponder over the nomenclature—Omni, Unified Commerce, or Cross-Channel—the core remains unchanged: the customer is at the center of it all.
