One thing I back myself on: Knowing talent when I see it. I knew it when I met Carla Hoppe and "hoppe-d" on the Wealthbrite train as Fractional COO in February. Back then, there weren't roles, tools or systems to build a top-tier team. There was, however a: - Highly intelligent, humble + resilient founder - Compelling social mission + path to profitability - Commitment to being the best CEO / leader she could The icing was the faith she'd put in me to help her build a high-performing team + sustainably scale Wealthbrite through its first major fundraise. It was keshty's mission to do right by Wealthbrite, but also my personal mission to do right by Carla. 🚢 INTRODUCING our new Founding AE: Jenna Redah! She's joined Carla, Idin + me to level the playing field through financial literacy. We had 200+ applicants for the role. Jenna consistently showed us: - Ownership for how she shows up, leads herself + learns - The confidence to clarify, act on feedback + encourage collaboration - Top professionalism making us comfortable putting her in front of anyone Not even a week in + she's already hit the ground running (*no surprise there*) 🚢 Anyone who's interviewed with me knows I'm TOUGH... but motivating. The friendly California accent is a ruse 😂. You'll leave feeling like you had no read on me, but you also pulled the absolute best of you out the bag. I'm proud to see + facilitate that in others. As a leader, there's nothing better than finding the best talent, giving them the tools to thrive + letting them push the bar for a culture of excellence. ♻ TLDR: I built keshty to help minority tech founders scale right the first time, and have fun doing it. And then there were 4 at Wealthbrite. 🎉 PS: We're having *so* much fun building something important, it should probably be illegal. #minorityfounder #scalejourney #techforgood
