🚀When an idea transforms into impactful research! 🚀 Over the last year, I was fortunate to be part of an idea, that developed into a project, that evolved into the comprehensive Challenger and Macquarie University customer study on retirement income. This journey was not only educational but also allowed me to explore various facets within Challenger Limited. The collaborative effort, hard work, and dedication from numerous talented individuals to bring this vision to life was truly inspiring and I am thrilled to have been part of it. The insights from this study are remarkable and I'm eager to share the key insights with advisers. I've often talked about the importance of the “ability to make a choice versus being forced to make a decision.” An interesting discovery was that customers who had the freedom to choose when to retire experienced significantly less stress. Highlighting the powerful difference that making informed retirement choices can have on the well-being of retirees.
